If you’re visiting Arches National Park during the peak seasons a Timed Entry Reservation is NO longer required in 2026! If you’re planning a visit to Arches National Park, timing your arrival can make a huge difference in your experience. Many visitors aim to enter between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m., which often leads to long lines and extended wait times at the entrance—especially during peak seasons. A better strategy is to plan your visit for later in the afternoon, typically after 2:00 or 3:00 p.m., when traffic begins to ease and entry becomes much smoother. Not only will you spend less time waiting, but you’ll also enjoy cooler temperatures, softer lighting for photos, and a more relaxed atmosphere in the park. By simply shifting your arrival time, you can avoid the busiest crowds and make the most of your time exploring Arches.
